When: Saturday 19 September
Where: Shawlands Academy Games Hall (Do not use the school entrance. The Games Hall is at the back of the school off Ravenswood Drive. Put "Glasgow Rens" in Google Maps to easily find the entrance.)
Ages 7, 8 & 9: 9.45 to 10.45 AM
Ages 10 & 11: 11 AM to 12.15 PM
What to Bring: Water and appropriate sports clothing and shoes
You do not need to be a member of the Glasgow Rens Basketball Club to attend
What to Expect on the Give It A Go Day: This will be a fun-filled session to show what Jr NBA is all about!
Jr. NBA is all about getting young players on court, playing basketball and loving the game. Sessions are fun, active and game-based, giving players the chance to develop their skills and confidence while being part of a team.
What to expect from the Jr NBA programme
Players will:

train and play once a week
-
learn basketball through games and competition
-
develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game

be part of the Jr. NBA experience, with teams representing NBA franchises

have opportunities to progress through the Rens player pathway as they develop
No previous basketball experience is needed – Jr. NBA is a great place to start.
